<p>PURPOSE: A method of separating pure metals and metallic sulfides from dusts generated from iron manufacture is provided, which is able to recover the metals or the metallic sulfides of a high degree of purity. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) an acidic wet process of treating dusts generated from iron manufacture containing mixture oxides of iron, zinc, lead, cadmium, and chrome with sulfuric acid, sulfuretted hydrogen gas or aqueous solution thereof, ammonia gas or aqueous solution thereof and acetic acid; and (ii) electrolyzing and then pyrolyzing the supernatants of step (i).</p> |
