The invention relates to a device and a method for filling automatic machines, notably automatic cleaning machines, with a chemical solution prepared from water and a concentrate. To create a filling device which permits the rapid filling of an automatic machine with a ready-to-use chemical solution the invention provides for both the water and concentrate to be stored in tanks (1, 8). The water tank (1) is fitted with a pump (3) from which water can be pumped through a line (5) and into the automatic machine to be filled. In the line (5) starting at the pump (3) a Venturi nozzle (9) is arranged which is connected to the concentrate tank (8) via a suction line (10).
