PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the configuration of a slave node by arranging management data transmitting from the master node within a continuous data length section, fetching an address from the head one in order in the slave node and successively executing a setting or monitoring processing under a condition which is set by means of a preceding word. SOLUTION: Various kinds of management data words transmitted from a master node 1 to a slave node are arranged within a continuous data length section from the head address word in the node which indicates the head address of the node to be set or monitored. Then the management data are fetched in order from the head one in the slave node 2 and the setting or monitoring processing is successively executed under the control which is set by the preceding word. Thus, the slave node 2 is not required to have a CPU processor and software for developing management data so that the configuration of the slave node 2 is simplified and the cost is reduced.
