CONNECTOR WITH LOCKING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for which the structure of a forming die is simplified and low manufacturing cost is required. SOLUTION: An arm 23 for a locking mechanism 32 is elastically supported at its middle portion so as to be oscillatable and displaceable by a supporting portion 24. The arm 23 has a first portion 25 located at the A side of the supporting portion 24 in the mounting direction and a second portion 26 located at the B side in the counter mounting direction. The first portion 25 is provided with a hooking portion 27. The second portion 26 is provided with a finger holding portion 27. The first portion 25 is provided with an escape portion 31 corresponding to the A side of the supporting portion 24 in the mounting direction. A portion 45 of an outer wall 22 corresponding to the escape portion 31 is molded by a main mold 40 movable perpendicular to the outer wall 22. The main mold 40 is also used for molding a groove 36 to partition an elastic locking member 35 for a housing lance.
