PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a volume level at a reproducing time to a fixed level regard- lessly of a sound recording level at a recording time and to automatically set the volume level for every music at the reproducing time in the volume level matched with the taste of a user. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a volume variable resistor 6 adjusting the volume outputted from a speaker at the reproducing time, and a system controller 8 records the volume level data at the reproducing time of the information recorded on an MD1 corresponding to every recorded information, and reads the volume level data recorded corresponding to the information from the MD1 prior to the reproduction of the optional information at the reproducing time of the ND1 to control the volume variable resistor 6 so as to become the read volume level.
