DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A data processing system is provided to make a client become an impossible execution state remotely by preventing a power from be supplied to the client or the client from being booted. CONSTITUTION: A data processing system comprises a server computer system(100) which is connected to a hub(102) through a local area network(LAN) connector bus(106). To the hub(102) are connected a plurality of client systems(104) through corresponding LAN connector buses(106), respectively. A client(104A) is physically located at a physical region(108) which comprises a transmitter(110). The transmitter(110) transfers a wireless RF signal to the physical region(108), and the transferred signal is received by an antenna comprised in the client(104). A client computer system is connected to the server computer system(100) through a network, and is initially at power-off. The server computer system(100) transfers a signal to the client computer system(104) through the network in order to prevent the client computer system from becoming an impossible execution state.
