Machine roller with rollers to process web materials has a cylindrical mantle, with inner supports fed with pressure and/or lubrication fluids. At least one scraper lip is at the inner peripheral surface of the roller on a lever (17) with a take-off channel (32) leading away from the scraper lip (16). The scraper lip with take-off channel passes through the bearing mounting (18) fixed to a carrier, and opens at the end side (33) of the shorter lever arm (31) where there is onwards movement for the fluid to a collection zone. Preferred Features: A longitudinal groove (20) is formed at the carrier (3), with a shrouding (29), with the fixed bearing mounting (18) at the shrouding (29). The end side (33) has a circular arc shape in cross section, to lie on a sealing surface (34) of the shrouding (29) with a conical or an arc shape. The scraper lip (16) and guide surface form a paddle-shaped component (23). A number of scraper units are distributed along the length of the roller, each with a scraper lip (16), guide surface (22) and lever (17). The scraper lip (16) is held under spring (26) pressure at the inner peripheral surface (12) at the roller mantle (2). Spacers hold the scraper lip (16) at a defined gap from the inner peripheral surface (12). At least one sliding shoe (19) is linked to the lever (17) at the scraper lip (16), with a linkage head (24) for the sliding shoe (19) to pivot near the scraper lip (16) through a spring of the spring assembly (26). The shape of the sliding shoe (19) forms a hydrodynamic fluid film layer between the sliding shoe (19) and the inner peripheral surface (12) of the roller mantle (2), through the mantle (2) rotation.
