PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a good core with an electric wire (CAV-US) used for an automobile, so as to attain superior terminal workability by making a core pitch a specified value by increasing stranding pitch for stranding cores, and laterally winding a shield lateral winding to the core stranding direction, thereby making the core pitch a specified value. SOLUTION: Stranding cores 12, 12 at increased pitch, an inner sheath 13 of double layer of a foaming vinyl inner layer and a vinyl outer layer is arranged thereon to cover, and a lateral winding shield 3 is laterally wound in the core 12 stranding direction to make the pitch of the cores 12, 12 a specified value. Accordingly, an insulator 12 of the core 12 can be prevented from being depressed at application of the inner sheath 13 to cover the cores 12, 12, and a noise-canceling effect, and flexibility as well as bending characteristic of an electric wire can be maintained. Furthermore, when the sheath 13 is formed of the two-layer structure of the inner layer of easy-to-cut material and the ouer layer 5 of material having a stron repelling elasticity, the connection performance of the shield 3 is maintained, and the sheath 13 can be removed even if there is no sufficient cut-in.
