PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension for a disk device, having superior impact resistance so as to be capable of effectively suppressing the motion of a flexure, when the shock is inputted. SOLUTION: This suspension 20A for a disk device is provided with a load beam 21, flexure 22 and limiter mechanism 50 for controlling the motion of the flexure 22. The flexure 22 is provided with a tongue part 30 for arranging a magnetic head slider thereon and outrigger parts 31, 32 positioned on both sides of the tongue part 30. The limiter mechanism 50 is provided with inserting/ holding parts 51 formed by working to bend a part of the load beam 21, or the like. The inserting/holding part 51 is furnished with a 1st restraining part 52 separated and confronted with one surface of the flexure 22, a connection part 53 positioned in front of the flexure 22, and a 2nd restraining part 54 extending out and facing backward from this connection part, also separated and confronted with another surface of the flexure 22.
