PURPOSE: A convolutional interleaver is provided to share interleavers of various standards by using an adder, an amplifier, and a unit delayer for addressing instead of a ROM table. CONSTITUTION: A mode selector(100) outputs first, second, and third signals in response to the number of the branches, a multiplication value of the number of registers, and a mode setting signal. An up counter(200) generates a count signal increasing one by one from the first signal in response to a clock signal. An addressing generator(300) is provided with the second and third signals in synchronization of the clock signal together with the count signal to generate an address signal. A memory(400) interleaves digital television data in response to the address signal.
