PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for managing subscriber information in a frame relay system is provided to reduce a complicate procedure which should be done for executing a command related with a frame relay, by outputting the subscriber information to a graphic user interface, after receiving the subscriber information from an exchange or a work station before executing the command. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus and method for managing subscriber information in a frame relay system comprises a graphic user interface(40), a workstation(30), an operation/maintenance processor(OMP)(210), and an exchange(20). The graphic user interface(40) requests a shape information and a frame relay subscriber information, and displays a shape information and a frame relay subscriber information responded to the request. The workstation(30) reads a shape information, which responded to the request for the shape information, to supply with the read information. The workstation(30) receives frame relay subscriber information, which responded to the request for the frame relay subscriber information, from the exchange(20), to supply the graphic user interface(40) with the received information. The OMP(210) supplies with shape information corresponded to frame relay subscriber information, by requests of the workstation(30) and shifts of the frame relay subscriber. The exchange(20) has an automatic link switching(220), which supplies with frame relay subscriber information corresponded to requests of the workstation(30).
