PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and method and an image data image pickup device and method for a time-sharing color display device, wherein a color deflection of a dynamic image does not occur. SOLUTION: An image-processing device 10 for a time-sharing color display device 20 dividing images of each frame into a plurality of fields, sequentially inputting per each field image data of each color of red, green, and blue of each frame, and performing color display using a color mixture due to a time sharing, is composed of a movement detecting circuit 14 detecting movement direction and the amount of images between each frame and a display position correction circuit 16 correcting display position of images per each field of each frame, based on the output of the movement detecting circuit 14.
