PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purifying method of deposit capable of naturally purifying the deposit on the sea bottom below a seafood culturing device by using natural power without depending on dredging work high in cost and capable of improving the culturing environment of seafood. SOLUTION: In the purifying method of the deposit M on the sea bottom below the seafood culturing device, a mesh steel member 3 formed by welding plural steel bars 3a, or the like, and having many networks is sunk to the the sea bottom below the seafood culturing device hung in the sea by interposing a floating member 2, the bottom end side of a string-shaped body 4 such as rope and wire is fitted to plural places at the periphery of the mesh steel member 3, and the bottom end side of the string-shaped body 4 is fitted to the floating member 2 or a floating member 5 floated separately from the floating member 2, and the mesh steel member 3 is oscillated or moved in vertical direction by the oscillation, vertical motion, or the like, of either of the floating members or both the floating members to agitate and float the deposit M on the sea bottom below the seafood culturing device and to mix oxygen-containing seawater into the deposit M and to decompose and activate the protein, or the like, in the deposit M by the oxygen in the seawater.
