metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method consists in mixing iron-containing wastes of metallurgical production with carbon-containing materials and binder followed by compacting and drying. Limits of carbon content in material range from 15 to 60% (by mass). Low-cost non-deficient natural materials, such as loam and clay or feldspar mixed with sodium carbonate are used as binder; content of sodium carbonate is equal to 15% (by mass) and one of above-mentioned natural materials, remainder. Mixture is subjected to joint grinding to faction of at least 0.85 mm. Iron-containing wastes of metallurgical production, such as dust and slurry of gas-cleaning plants of blast and electric arc furnaces and wells may be used as starting materials. Briquettes thus made may be used as partial substitute of steel scrap, iron, source of iron and diluent of admixtures of non-ferrous metals in steel melt. EFFECT: considerable reduction of melting losses from briquettes; increased degree of recovery of metals from wastes. 7 cl, 1 tbl
|
