Cold-coating process for hollow glass containers, e.g. beer bottles, involves coating with aqueous dispersions of polyurethane and polyethylene

A process for cold-coating the surface of hollow glass containers involves coating with aqueous dispersions of polyurethane and polyethylene, or with a mixture of an aqueous dispersion of both. Independent claims are also included for cold-coated hollow glass containers with at least one coating, which comprises: (a) dried and hardened aqueous dispersions of polyurethane and polyethylene; or (b) a mixed dispersion of polyurethane and polyethylene.
