The invention relates to a parabolic antenna for receiving and sending electromagnetic waves, especially for receiving radio and television programs broadcast by satellites, comprising a bowl-shaped reflector (1) circumscribing an opening, wherein a foil (2) is applied on the reflector (1), said foil (2) covering the opening of the reflector (2) at least in certain sections in the shape of a chord. The foil (2) is fixed on the parabolic antenna. The foil (2) is transparent to electromagnetic waves in the 3-30 GHz frequency range. |
