PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydration treatment method of sludge consisting essentially of iron oxide, which contains water and oil contents. SOLUTION: In the dehydration treatment method of the sludge, substance containing slaked lime is mixed with the sludge consisting essentially of iron oxide and containing 50-40 mass % water content and 0.5-15 mass % oil content, which generates in iron works to make the water content into slaked lime hydrate, and besides the oil content is adsorbed on the slaked lime hydrate, in which the slaked lime is 0.5-1.5 times the sludge.
