PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord cutter setting a cord nipped by a blade and fixing at an optional length position for able to cut the cord. SOLUTION: In the main body 1 having a blade 3 arranged in one side and a through hole arranged in the other side for passing a cord through, a button 2 having a fork-type end on one side is fitted, and a through hole for passing a cord through is also arranged in the button 2. A cord cutter is provided with a supporting plate 4 supporting the blade 3 and the button 2 and installed by putting a cord in the through holes arranged in the main body 1 and the button 2 for passing the cord.
