PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify structure, facilitate maintenance and handling by making the subject body light-weight by forming the grounding surface of a low friction material. SOLUTION: For the almost total section of the lower surface of this sliding body 1, which comes into contact with a floor surface, a low friction material 2 is used. Also, a handle 4 for moving is provided at a location which is on the peripheral edge of the sliding body 1, and can be gripped by a carer, on the grounding surface side of the sliding body 1 and/or on the opposite surface side from the grounding surface side. The handle 4 (also 5, in the figure) is formed into a strap-form handle 5 which is suitable for pulling, and is attached in such a manner that handle 5 may stick out from the peripheral edge location of a pad 7. Or, the handle 5 may be attached to locations which are at four corners on the grounding surface side of the pad 7 and are hard to see from the top. When used, a patient is placed on the sliding body 1, and the weight of the patient is applied to the low friction material 2, and the sliding body 1 is pulled in the moving direction by gripping the end of the sliding body 1 or the handle 5. When the patient himself moves, the patient moves by gripping a hand-rail, or the like, while placing his body weight on the sliding body 1. By this constitution, the patient can be easily moved.
