PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiping and coating tool which has a support body with a simple structure, can simply fit or remove a wiping and coating sheet material such as a nonwoven fabric or a waste to or from the support body, and has good productivity at a low cost. SOLUTION: This tool is formed with an elastic plastic material so that a pair of opposite end sections 1a of a sheet material 1 covered on one face of a plate-like support 2 can be folded and fixed to the other face side. The tool is provided with cutout sections 4 elastically pinching a pair of opposite end sections of the sheet material folded to the other face side from both the surface and the back face on a pair of end sections of the support 2. The cutout sections 4 are constituted of fixed pressing plates 8 pressing a pair of both opposite end sections of the folded sheet material 1 from the surface side and elastic pressing plates 7 pressing them via elastic force from the back face side.
