PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and highly accurately adjust height of a printing screen without depending on a measuring person. SOLUTION: A base 4 which is placed on height adjusting members 132 and can be supported by means of four height adjusting members 132 without being brought into contact with the surface of a suction table 116 and a measuring means fitted on the base 4 and for measuring a distance related to the height from the surface of the table 116 to the base 4 at a position close to each height adjusting member 132 on each height adjusting member 132 are provided. The measuring means consists of four dial gauges 6, which are respectively provided for each of the height adjusting members 132. The base 4 contains an approximately rectangular frame and two beams which are laid between facing sides of the frame and are mutually spaced at an interval and two of the dial gauges 6 are respectively fitted on each of the beams and are mutually spaced at an interval.
