1. A shaft drive type vehicle, comprising:
a power source configured to transmit power through a drive shaft to a pinion gear, and to an axle shaft through a bevel gear meshing with the pinion gear; a final gear box configured to accommodate the pinion gear and the bevel gear in a rotatable manner, and to contain an oil for lubrication, wherein a recess in which to dispose an upstream end of a pinion gear shaft portion constituting a shaft portion of the pinion gear is disposed at a downstream end of the drive shaft, wherein the recess and the upstream end of the pinion gear shaft portion are spline coupled to each other so that the drive shaft and the pinion gear are configured to be rotated as one body and relatively moved in an axial direction, and wherein a space portion permitting relative movement between the drive shaft and the pinion gear in the axial direction is disposed between the pinion gear and the recess, with the pinion gear including a hollow portion which pierces the pinion gear in the axial direction and conducts the oil to the space portion. |
