PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type electrophotographic device constituted so that developer can be uniformly applied to a developing roller extending over the whole surface of printing width when non-volatile, high-viscosity and high- concentration liquid toner is used. SOLUTION: This wet type electrophotographic device is constituted so that the liquid developer to be supplied is applied to the surface of a developing roller 25 while being extended by two rotary rollers 26 and 27 and one rotary roller 27 is made to abut on the roller 25 in order to apply the film of the liquid developer to the roller 25. When a guide frame 28 for forming a practically closed space having prescribed width in a shaft direction is made to abut on two rollers 26 and 27 and the liquid developer is supplied to the inside of the closed space from a supply source under an almost constant pressure in the case that the liquid developer is applied to the roller 25, the liquid developer is statically confined, pressurized and extended on a condition that the pressure is uniformly applied to the developer so that the developer reaches the whole printing area.
