PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a wiring block due to relative movement of a vibration control handle to a tool body and to provide an increased life for a motor-driven hammering tool. SOLUTION: A terminal 19 connected to the lead wire 16 of the stator 2 of an electric motor is disposed at a wiring block (A) 20, a terminal 22 connected to a lead wire 17 connected to a switch 12 and a source code 13 is disposed at a wiring block (B) 21, the wiring block (A) 20 is mounted on the housing 1 side, and the wiring block (B) 21 is mounted on the handle 14 side. The wiring block (B) 21 is held at a holder 23 mounted on the inner wall 14a of the handle 14, and by effecting fit-in between the housing 1 and the handle 14, and the wiring block (A) 20 and the wiring block (B) 21 are interconnected through terminals 19 and 22.
