摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the impact accuracy of the ink for improving the image quality, by setting the amount of ink droplets ejected from a nozzle, the distance between the nozzle and a recording medium and the ejection speed of the ink droplets at specific values. SOLUTION: The amount of ink droplets 1 ejected from a nozzle 5 is set at 10 pl or less, the distance (g) between the nozzle and a recording medium 3 at 0.8 mm or less, and the ejection speed of the ink droplets 1 at 7 m/sec or more. By providing the ink droplets 1 smaller, the dot shape on the recording medium 3 can be small as well as the resolution can be improved. Furthermore, the total amount of the ink droplets 1 can be small so that the selection range of the recording medium 3 can be widened. That is, a recording medium with little paper powders which can foul the nozzle surface of the head 1, or a recording medium with a small rigidity or curl can be used. Moreover lift up of the recording medium 3 by the ink absorption so as to contact with the nozzle surface of the head 1 can be prevented.
