PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an influence exercised on a tool internal member by motor exhaust gas. SOLUTION: This motor-driven tool comprises a tool casing having inner and outer surfaces, an inlet vent hole 34, and an outlet vent hole; and a motor situated in a tool casing and having the outer surface, a motor casing 50 provided with a suction port 58 through which cooling air entering a motor 46 passes, and an exhaust port 56 through which exhaust gas from a heated motor passes. The suction and exhaust ports 58 and 56 are opened to the outer surface, and the exhaust port 56 is spaced away from the suction port 58. The tool contains an air deflector 60 elastically coupled to the outer surface. An air deflector 60 has wall structure to support an outlet at a bracket. The wall structure is extended making contact with the inner surface of the tool, an outlet vent hole is supported at a bracket, an obstacle body is formed at the peripheries of the exhaust port and the outlet vent hole, exhaust gas is introduced to the outlet vent hole, and exhaust gas through the exhaust port is prevented from entering the intake port or the other part of the tool.
