PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coke extrusion-controlling device which can reduce the generation of pushing stop. SOLUTION: The primary coil of an induction motor 141 for driving a pusher 12 is connected to a three-phase AC source 43, and the secondary coil is connected to a starting resister array 44 in order to smoothly start. The resistance value of the starting resister array 44 is set to a value of >=2 notches in order to generate the maximum output of the induction motor. When the starting resister array is switched to a notch capable of generating the maximum output before the pusher is not brought into contact with coke, the generation of the pushing stop can be controlled, because the induction motor generates the maximum output even when the reaction force of the coke is large.
