PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overflow of rain water over a floor plate even if dirt including fallen leaves is plugged in a connection between the floor plate and a drain duct. SOLUTION: A sectionally recessed gutter 6 is provided on a floor plate 1 for a balcony and a water catchment basin 7 is provided at one end of the gutter 6. The water catchment basin 7 is protruded from a handrail portion of the balcony to the side. A down pipe is mounted at the lower end of the water catchment basin 7 in the vertical direction and an overflow hole portion 14 is formed in at least a portion of the side plate 13 of the water catchment basin 7 at the somewhat lower side of the upper end.
