PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely connect piles together in a locked condition, without requiring great labor in connecting operations so that operational costs can be reduced. SOLUTION: A cylinder portion 21 is provided at one pile end and a shaft portion 11 is provided at the other pile end. A circumferentially extending inward groove 22 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder portion 21 and a circumferentially extending outward groove 12 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion 11 opposite to the inward groove 22. A ring-shaped member having formed therein a plurality of elastic portions that are easy to deform elastically is fitted into the outward groove 12 or the inward groove 22 across the inward groove 22 and the outward groove 12 as the cylinder portion 21 is fitted over the shaft portion 11, and the cylinder portion 21 and the shaft portion 11 of adjacent piles fitted one over the other are freely connected together in a locked condition.
