PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out efficient sheet winding work by confirming working precision of crosswise sewing scores for folding without suspending treatment work of a continuous sheet. SOLUTION: A sheet winding device 1 winds up a continuous sheet 10 on which crosswise sewing scores for folding are provided in a rolled state. In this case, a folding device 2 to fold the continuous sheet 10 at the crosswise sewing scores for folding is provided on its rear stage side, a sheet supply route to this folding device 2 is furnished and a change-over mechanism to change supply motion of the continuous sheet 10 to the sheet supply route over to sheet winding motion to wind up the sheet to a roll core 11. Thereafter, sheet winding motion is carried out by actuating the change-over mechanism after confirming that a sheet folding state in the folding device 2 is normal while keeping on treatment motion without stopping motion of sheet treatment devices 4, 5 provided on a front stage side of the sheet winding device 1.
