PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding roller support device of an ink jet recording device without positional slippage in the axial longitudinal direction of a paper feeding roller shaft due to rotation. SOLUTION: It is furnished with bearings 4, 5 to axially support both ends of a paper delivery roller shaft 1 free to slide in the axial longitudinal direction and a positioning means to specify a position in the axial longitudinal direction, and the positioning means is furnished with a spring 7 to energize the paper delivery roller shaft 1 to the one end side in the axial longitudinal direction, a regulating member 20 for positioning with which the paper delivery shaft 1 energized by the spring 7 is pushed and made contact, a projected part 21 which is a paper delivery roller shaft end surface and is projectively provided at its roughly shaft center position, etc. Positioning in the axial longitudinal direction is carried out by pushing and making this projected part contact with the regulating member 20 for positioning.
