Deferred setting concrete

A delayed action quick setting concrete comprises blast furnace slag, a granulate such as sand and/or gravel or loose chippi and water. There is about 10-35 wt.% of blast furnace slag with a granulometry 200 micro m, (preferably 100 micro m). An Independent claim is also included for a method of triggering the setting of the concrete, comprising activating the bla furnace slag using an alkaline agent such as soda, potash or sodium or potassium carbonate.
