PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operation of supplementing transaction from a customer servicing port, and to shorten the time required for the supplementing transaction. SOLUTION: This automatic teller machine is constituted in such a way that paper monies are supplemented from a customer servicing port through which paper monies are dispensed and received to and from customers. When the card of a clerk in charge is inserted into a card processing section 22, a control section 31 sets a supplement mode, makes the paper monies of a number exceeding the maximum acceptable limit for one transaction acceptable in the supplement mode, and instructs a bill printing section 21 to print the supplemented amount of a plurality of number of times on one sheet of a bill.
