The bending machine comprises rolls set in motion by an electric motor (16') using series of gears (17) commanding lower roll via idler gear (18). The upper roll is commanded by a chain transmission (19). The chain passes over a first toothed wheel (20) and over second toothed wheel (21). A branch (19') of the chain is practically vertical, acting upon a third toothed wheel kept in permanent contact with latter via a plate (23).
