PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a movable contact requiring no extra machining, while preventing increase in size of an apparatus itself by providing a bolt for integrally coupling a pair of clamp pieces, a compression spring and a spring receiver and a nut to be screwed thereon. SOLUTION: A pair of vertical clamp pieces 24, 25 for clamping a current collecting contactor 21 and a fixed contact 22 are composed of a hollow tube having an elliptical front profile. Corners at the opposite ends thereof are previously rounded to ensure smooth and satisfactory contact with the fixed contact 22. A compression spring 30 is contained in bottomed tubular spring receivers 27, 28 which are fitted to the upper clamp piece 24 and held by a holding member 26 at a prescribed interval. The length of a bolt 29 penetrating the compression spring 30 and the spring receives 27, 28 is set to not to project from the lower clamp piece 25. Furthermore, a nut 31 is screwed over the bolt 29 on the hollow inner circumferential surface of the lower clamp piece 25. Since the compression spring 30, the bolt 29, and the nut 31 do not project from the clamp pieces 24, 25 in the vertical direction, height dimension of a movable contact 23 can be decreased.
