PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a hybrid core effective for noise reduction in the conventional frequency bands and a new frequency band by integrating two or more magnetic materials having different magnetic characteristics. SOLUTION: A troidal core of specified size is split into two ferrite cores 20a, 20b, in which an inner hole part is provided and inserted with paste-like electromagnetic interference suppressing materials 21a, 21b which is then dried to produce a hybrid core. A volume of the inner hole part occupies about 30% that of the split ferrite cores 20a, 20b. The inner hole part is provided along the arc of the split ferrite cores 20a, 20b. A metallic magnetic material may be employed as a magnetic material. The core may be provided with two or more inner hole parts and inserted with a magnetic material, having two kinds or more of magnetic characteristics thus producing a hybrid core effective for noise reduction in the conventional frequency bands and a new frequency band.
