PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burglarproof device which prevents illegal trespassers with a simple operation in order to prevent crimes in a home in the absence of the residents. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an image pickup device 1 provided on an entrance door, a TV monitor 6 which displays the picture of the image pickup device 1, a picture memory 7 where the picture of the image pickup device 1 is stored, a touch sensor 4 which is provided on the knob of the entrance door and detects person's touch to the knob to output a contact detection signal, a key switch 5 which is provided in the lock of the entrance door and outputs a locking signal at the time of locking, an operation part 8 which outputs a command signal to reproduce and display the picture stored in the picture memory, a timer 10 which outputs a driving signal to the image pickup device only for a preliminarily set prescribed time, and a control part 8 which performs such control that the driving signal may be outputted to the image pickup device only for the time set by the timer on the basis of the contact detection signal of the touch sensor 4 and the locking signal of the key switch 5 and the driving signal may be outputted to the TV monitor 6 on the basis of the command signal of the operation part.
