PURPOSE: A memory card connector is provided to obtain a connector which can be used as a micro flash card, a multimedia card, and a secure digital card by using both surfaces of the upper and lower portions of the connector. CONSTITUTION: A memory card connector comprises an upper portion, a lower portion, and a direction indicating surface(36). The upper portion comprises a connecting terminal(20) and a resilient piece(17) for electrically connecting a micro flash card to the connector, a catching piece(18) for engaging the lower portion, an engaging piece(21), and an engaging frame(35). The lower portion comprises an engaging recess(10) for engaging the lower portion with the upper portion, an engaging jaw(16), an engaging member(15), and right and left jaws(12) and a connecting terminal(14) for electrically connecting a multimedia card to a secure digital card. The insertion direction of the memory card is discriminated by the direction indicating surface(36).
