PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy installation of a chain to a tire even for a non-skilled person. SOLUTION: This tire chain comprises the following: a body portion which wraps around a tire 2000; a plurality of frames with protruded at the center, while embedded in the body portion and makes the center of the body portion protruded; a protruded member 300 which is provided inside with respect to an end portion of the frames that is projected from both ends of the body portion; a sheath member 400 which connects the end portions of the frames; a chain member which is inserted in the inside of the sheath member 400 and connects the end portions; and a latch means 600 that latches the chain member in a circular shape. When the tire 2000 treads on the protruded portion of the body portion, both ends become independent and the protruded member 300 pinches a side wall of the tire 2000. When the tire 2000 is rotated in this condition, it is wrapped by the body portion step by step, and the chain member is latched by the latch means 600, and thus the tire chain is fixed to the tire 2000.
