PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate removal of dust adhered to an inner wall surface of a container by a method wherein some ion injection nozzles are arranged outside the container, ionized fluid is injected toward an outer wall surface to neutralize a static electricity at the inner wall of the container. SOLUTION: Ionized air is injected toward an outer wall surface of a PET bottle 3 through four ion injection nozzles 5 arranged at a container cleaning device 1. The injected ionized air is expanded over an entire outer circumference of the PET bottle 3 so as to cover the outer surface of the PET bottle 3 with ionized air. Then, at the wall of the PET bottle 3 to which ionized air is blown, free electrons at the wall of the PET bottle 3 are moved under an influence of outer ions outside the wall to neutralize an electrical load of static electricity at the inner wall surface or to perform an electrical neutralization of dusts adsorbed at the inner wall of the PET bottle 3. With such an arrangement as above, the adsorption of dust with respect to the inner wall surface of the PET bottle 3 may easily be released or adhesion of dust with static electrical force is prohibited.
