PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device for vehicle, capable of giving a better pedal feeling at the time of operating a manual brake during an automatic braking, with having a simple structure. SOLUTION: This braking device comprises a relief valve 31 adapted to release pressure acting on a wheel cylinder 12a of a manual brake A. The relief valve 31 is controlled in its opening according to time of which releasing time determined by deceleration of a body is corrected by a pedal stepping speed for being capable of obtaining a pedal stroke corresponding to a situation of using the manual brake A.
