PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a camera equipped with a finder field switching mechanism which does not give an unpleasant feeling or anxiety caused by scratch on the field of a finder to a user by providing a light shielding member with a projection part abutting on an optical member at a light shielding part out of 1st and 2nd field areas. SOLUTION: When shutter releasing operation is performed at the time of full size photographing, the pop-up operation of a main mirror 1 to a photographing position is started by a mirror driving mechanism, and field light shielding plates 11 and 12 are rotated from an open position to a light shielding position. Then, the light shielding plate edge parts 11a and 12a of the plates 11 and 12 are going to abut on a focusing screen 7. However, the edges of the spherical projection parts 11b and 12b in projecting shape arranged at both right and left ends of the edge parts 11a and 12a abut on the part out of the field of a field frame 8, so that all the areas of the edge part 11a and 12a abut on the focusing screen 7. Therefore, the inside of the field of the focusing plate 7 is prevented from being linearly scratched due to abutting by the edge parts 11a and 12a.
