PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high sensitivity, superior electrical characteristics and superior stability of electrification potential by forming a photosensitive layer containing two or more crystalline oxo-titanyl phthalocyanines chiefly containing microcrystals and exhibiting a specified X-ray diffraction spectrum as an electric charge generating material and at least one specified amine-hydrazone compound as an electric charge transferring material. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer containing two or more crystalline oxo-titanyl phthalocyanines chiefly containing microcrystals and exhibiting a specified X-ray diffraction spectrum as an electric charge generating material and at least one amine-hydrazone compound of the formula as an electric charge transferring material. In the formula, R1-R5 are each lower alkyl, the residue of an aromatic hydrocarbon, the residue of a heterocyclic or aralkyl, R3 is H, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower dialkylamino, trifluoromethyl or aralkyl and (n) is an integer of 1-3.
