The invention relates to a portable integrated circuit device comprising a supporting body and a detachable mini-card bearing an integrated circuit. According to the invention, the mini-card (2,3) is disposed on one end (5) of the supporting body (1) which has an elongated shape. The invention can be used for SIM cards in new generation mobile telephones.
