PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain deodorant function even in the case of breakdown while insuring compactness capable of being on-vehicle and high adsorption efficiency by forming a deodorant filter from a compact in which a deodorizer itself is made into the structural body, and arranging a catch member of ventilating property on the downstream of a deodorant filter in an air blasting passage. SOLUTION: This filter construction is constituted of a deodorant filter 1, a filter cartridge 3 as a frame body with a built-in catch member 2, the other catch member 4, an ultraviolet lamp unit 5, and a dust collecting filter 6. After passing air previously removing dust or the like by the dust collecting filter 6 through the other catch member 4, the air is passed through the porous clearance of the deodorant filter 1 under irradiation of ultraviolet rays of the ultraviolet lamp 51, nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide, bacteria, virus, odor component, and the like in the air are decomposed to make them harmless by the strong oxidizing action of photocatalyst 7 borne with the deodorant filter 1. Thereafter the purified air is led to an air conditioner unit through the catch member 2, and discharged into a vehicle room.
