PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently assure the spacings between the adjacent bumps of a driver integrated circuit and to reduce the size of the driver integrated circuit. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device has a liquid crystal display element substrate 2 arrayed with plural input terminals and plural output terminals at its side edges and the driver integrated circuit 1 arrayed with the plural input bumps and the plural output bumps and is constituted by adhering the corresponding plural input terminals and plural output terminals and the plural input bumps and plural output bumps via an anisotropic conductive film, thereby flip-chip packaging the driver integrated circuit 1 onto the liquid crystal display element substrate 2. The plural output bumps are formed to any of a triangular shape, pentagonal shape or trapezoidal shape slender in an array width direction and are arranged to a zigzag form so as to constitute output first bump arrays 4 or output second bump arrays 5 at every other one. The respective output bumps of the output second bump arrays 5 are arranged so as to at least partly intrude between the respective output bumps of the output first bump arrays 4. The plural terminals are at least partly formed to a shape resembling the shapes of the respective plural corresponding bumps.
