PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fluctuation in the liquid crystal caused by ridges of a housing by chamfering the ridge part on the edge of the opening of the housing facing to the back face of a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: For example, in a LCD module, a liquid crystal panel 3, sheets 4 to 8, light transmitting plate 9 are tightly stacked and housed between a metal frame 1 and a resin housing 2. Openings 2a to 2e are formed in the housing 2, and ridges 2f to 2h of the housing 2 on the edge of the openings 2a to 2e facing to the back face of the liquid crystal panel 3 are chamfered and rounded. The chamfering amt. is controlled to the equal to the thickness of the housing 2 on the edge of the openings 2a to 2e. In the LCD module after chamfered and rounded, the ridges 2f to 2j of the housing do not act like protrusions even in the tightly stacked and housed structure of the liquid crystal panel 3, sheets 4 to 8 and light transmitting plate 9, and therefore, normal operation such as touching keys or the like hardly causes vibration to be transmitted to the liquid crystal panel 3.
