PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing an optical fiber cable which is capable of forcibly imparting axial tension load and bending stress which are external forces to coated optical fibers, thereby fixing the external forces so as to remain therein in a cabling stage of the optical fiber cable and the optical fiber cable. SOLUTION: This optical fiber cable has a central body 2a which is the center of the optical fiber cable and a coated optical fibers assembly 10a consisting of the coated optical fibers 5a which are transmission media for light signals arranged around the central body 2a along the central body 2a and adhesive resins which are provided with high adhesive power to forcibly allow the external forces to remain therein by integrally cladding and embedding the coated optical fibers 5a forcibly imparted with the axial tension load and bending stress which are the external forces together with the central body 2a and curing the resins and having a high curing rate.
