<p>The invention relates to a method of producing dental ceramics according to which the dental ceramic is subjected to at least one heat-treatment step. The inventive method is characterized in that microwave radiation is used in at least one heat-treatment step to heat the dental ceramic. The invention provides a method of substantially reducing the overall furnace times of dental ceramics that are produced in several burning steps and that have for example metallic bases and ceramic linings by using this method in combination with a conventional heating, for example a resistance heating.</p> |
