The method for producing adhesive labels with interior removed sections (12) consists of the following steps: a) interior section contours are punched on the label material (10) located on a carrier strip; b) the label material, with the exception of the sections (12), is coated with a separation agent; c) a laminate with an adhesive is placed on the label material, and is then removed together with the separated material of the sections (12); d) punching is carried out to produce the outer label contour; e) the remaining grid of the label material is removed from the carrier strip.
